In a special article published on sports celebrities involved in the wine industry, Richard Childress was included in the round-up and Childress Vineyards Victory Cuvee was reviewed by former NFL tackle-turned wine purveyor Chris Hinton.
Hinton said "I haven't had much experience with Carolina wines, but this is surprisingly good. I like the flavor profile: very citrusy with a hint of lemon. People associate champagne or sparkling wines with celebratory events. I love sparkling wines, but I was never in a locker for a champagne bath. You have to win a big one." (such as the Daytona 500 which RCR driver Kevin Harvick did this year!)
