What's long been my personal
vision has finally become a reality.
In the Fall of 2004, we opened what I hope will quickly become recognized as North Carolina's signature winery, Childress Vineyards.

Nestled at the gateway of the Yadkin Valley, Childress Vineyards is planted on 65 acres of fertile farmland, and our winery sits at the crossroads of two popular routes, U.S 52 and U.S. 64, just west of Lexington.

To help create some of the finest wines in the country, I've hired some of the best people in the wine industry. After all, in my three decades in the world of stock car racing, I've learned that you're only as successful as the team with which you surround yourself.
